Stuck in a well-paying yet unfulfilling job, abroad or in a country that no longer suits you?
Is this you, right now?
You don’t have to stay stuck. As a certified career coach and former recruiter with insider knowledge (fellow expat who used to be in your shoes), that’s exactly what I can help you with!
-
● You often lie awake at night wondering if you’re throwing away your talent, potential, and time, feeling behind compared to your peers and where you thought you’d be by now. You wake up most mornings with a knot in your stomach.
● Maybe what makes this even worse is a change in company culture, making you feel underappreciated and like a cog in a machine. Perhaps you’ve already seen layoffs happen or AI taking over some jobs and you’re worried you’ll be next. Or you simply can’t see a future in your country’s economy.
● But you still haven’t managed to change your situation. You’re either so ‘rusty’ and overwhelmed with options that you don’t know where to start, or you’ve sacrificed your limited time off on a chaotic job search that led to nothing.
● You have plenty of experience and motivation, and you know you’re meant for more! But because your talent goes unrecognised and you’re not getting interviews or offers, you’re starting to doubt yourself and self-sabotage.
● This is affecting your personal life and relationships, too: you’re bringing that work stress at home, dreading questions like “What do you do for a living?”, doomscrolling, and living for the weekend.
-
● Ask your friends or inner circle.
● Figuring out the right career move on your own: diving into Reddit threads, trying to piece it all together yourself, asking ChatGPT/ Claude for direction…
● Applying for jobs, trying to block time during evenings and weekends: trusting random tips from influencers and free resources, using AI to write your CV and cover letter, forcing yourself into any job description, tweaking keywords…
● Making impulse changes, like getting a random job just to get out of a toxic workplace, making lateral moves, changing countries (again)...
● Networking to access the hidden job market…but nothing has really changed.
-
● Right now, you lack clarity on what job role can be both well-paying and truly fulfilling for you and on how to present yourself as the best possible candidate to recruiters and hiring teams.
● …And unfortunately, the longer you stay where your talent goes unrecognised or keep applying for random jobs only to get rejected, the harder it’s going to be to believe in yourself and break that cycle.
This could be your life in only a few months, not “maybe one day”
As a career coach, I don’t make unrealistic promises like “You will definitely receive a job offer within x weeks”.
But I will offer you personalised guidance and proven insider knowledge to help you find the right direction and land a meaningful, high-income job in a new role, industry, or country faster and more confidently.
For example, here’s what this could look like in practice:
● Most days, you wake up fully rested and filled with purpose.
● You have a well-paying role that feels aligned and stimulating, where your ideas are valued and your talent is recognised and you light up whenever someone asks you “What do you do for a living?”.
● You got there steadily and strategically, applying less and getting more out of it, landing interviews and offers from top global companies and knowing exactly how to present yourself as the best possible candidate.
● You feel more confident overall: you can see the value you bring to a company, what you’re truly capable of, and what’s possible for you, now and in the future.
● You finally have the time and energy to make the most of your life abroad, enjoying everyday pleasures, weekend trips, and making memories with loved ones and new friends.

Meet your Expats’Career Coach
I know what it feels like to be painfully stuck.
I spent years in Italy jumping from one crappy job to the next in Italy, convinced that moving abroad was impossible.
Eventually, I got strategic: I landed my first HR/Recruitment role in Switzerland and later rebuilt my career in the Netherlands.
From there, I went on to hire for top tech companies like Booking.com, TomTom, and Atlassian, gaining insider knowledge of how global hiring truly works.
But…twist in the plot: when instability hit again, I followed my true calling and became a career coach for expats, certified by Erickson Coaching International and the International Coaching Federation.
Now I combine my insider knowledge as a recruiter with proven coaching tools to help expats land the right jobs faster and more confidently.
My only regret? Not having done it sooner.
